She seemed like someone I could dig on, but then I never could tell
I just knew I had this feeling about her, and a decade of doubts as well
And as that evening seemed to linger, with the moon shining down
I thought the shadows she tossed cast disaster all across my brow
But then she kissed me and it calmed me, not a moment too soon
and her pleasant aroma bent my branches over as her curls wound round my roots.

I thought it might be that she liked me, but I didn’t presume
I just followed her changes, as my body was humming along to her tune
I thought it might be kind of wild, yeah but I didn’t assume
with her silhouette undressing against the light of the moon.
and when she kissed me how it calmed me, yeah she turned me around
And that’s the way that she took me
with a cool look that soon shook my branches down

What happened next was unexpected, but I was nicely surprised.
As I held her so close and this moment unfolded, and I locked with her eyes
And in that torrent we devoted, both our energy
To shining together, in the well of each other, so naturally
And as she kissed me how she drew me, into chemical flight
Till her movements consumed me
And the moonlight seeped into my heart that night.
